Overlapping Strategy- Teacher's Manual
The Overlapping Strategy Teacher’s Manual replaces the first fifteen lessons of the Basic Blue Core Manual and is used in conjunction with the Overlapping Strategy Student Book and Basic Blue Reading Book One and Basic Blue Workbook A. The manual contains 21 lessons and numerous appendices.
Each lesson begins with a summary and a list of materials needed for instruction. Directives are specific and include options for direct instruction. The teaching activities reference the specific pages from the student’s materials, most of which are reproduced in facsimile form at the end of the lesson. Sections called Hints on Pacing, Additional Reinforcement and Commentary complete the lesson.
