-Master phonemic awareness and word attack strategies.  

- Build recognition of many sight words for foundational reading fluency.  

- Learn visualization techniques to expand vocabulary and enhance comprehension.

-Will read approximately the same number of words as a traditional second grade level at completion of the Green Level.
