Meet Jackie Baumgardner

Jackie Baumgardner is a passionate educator with over 15 years of experience in special education. She is deeply committed to advocating for students with special needs and is dedicated to helping them achieve their fullest potential. Jackie believes that reading is the foundation of all learning. In her view, without strong reading skills, success in other academic areas becomes significantly more challenging. This belief drives her work, as she strives to ensure that all students have the tools they need to succeed and grow.

Outside of the classroom, Jackie enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her family and friends. She also values quiet moments at home, where she can relax and recharge after a rewarding day of teaching.

Jackie is excited to align with The Need to Read's mission of empowering students through effective reading instruction, as she believes that strong literacy skills are essential for unlocking each child's full academic and personal potential.
